What Causes A Hole In Ear Drum After Its Replacement?
So recently i had my ear drum replaced ( most of my drum was scar tissue and there was a hole that wasnt healing on a crest) so after a few months that went down i went to a laid back luke show. Im pretty sure thats what screwed my ear up again. I went to the ENT a few days ago (about 2 months after the concert, and 7- 8 months after the surgery) They found that i have a new hole in my ear drum. I asked how that could have happen and they say it could have been the concert, blowing my nose or something else. They said it may have been the loads of bass that my ear had to handle.. So now everytime i wear headphone or there is a low tone around my ear gets a lil uncomfortable and it feels like there is something in there.
Your symptoms could be related to the eardrum perforation or a local infection. If this situation persists, I recommend performing a temporal boneCT scan in order to examine the inner and outer ear better.
