What Causes A Itchy Rash Along The Neck?

3 days ago I noticed a bit of stingy itchy feeling on back of neck, along hairline. I then noticed a rash. Day 2 I started feeling same feeling extend to right arm (not shoulder hand, just inner arm). I took Benedryal (spelling?) and thought through food, skin products and whatnot that were new to my system. I had been on road trip, nothing new except climate change. Today, the rash has continued to spread downward, now on torso and hips. No fever, headache, queesy stomach, stiffness, running nose, cough...just rash.

The itchy rash might be a manifestation of milliaria which is a disorder caused by obstruction of ecrine glands.Sudden exposure to hot and humid climate may cause the condition. Topical soothing lotions like calamine lotion can be used over the affected area. Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used after consulting your dermatologist. Regards
