What Causes A Jelly Substance In Loose Stools?

is this a real doctor i am speaking to?
if so i have a case of diarrhea and notice today their was a white jelly substance in it what is it and should i be worried as i have been having problems go to the loo which my GP put me on some pills to help but then i noticed the jelly substance

The white jelly substance in stool is due to excessive mucus production.
I would advise you the following:
Send the stool for tests and find evidence like infection, amoebiasis or malignancy.
Get appropriate medication like metronidazole and antibiotic if needed and you may be absolutely fine.
If no results then go for Colonoscopy, biopsy and CT scan of abdomen to rule out or confirm any specific disease and get treated accordingly. Colon cancer is one important reason for mucus in stool.
