What Causes A Loud Popping Sound In Ear And Clogging Feeling?

My right ear had a loud popping sound one night years ago, and has since felt clogged up. Cleaning it does not help, and the only difference happens whenever I burp, where I get this feeling of the inner ear expanding (like blowing a bubble and sucking it back in), but other than that, it still remains clogged.

hello, thanks for ur query, ear is connect by nose by et ( eusthacian tube) , whenever this tube blocked ( cold, flu, sinusitis, allergy) u feel ear block sensation, u can start decongestant tab. xyzal- d ( levocitrizine+ pseudoephidrine) one tab ya bed time for7 days, xylometazoline nasal drops 3 drops/ 3 time/1 week. valsalva manoere ( watch utube ) , chew chewing gum can be tried ,all d best. take care.
