What Causes A Lower Abdominal Pain After A C Section?

Hello...I went throught fertility treatment 6 years ago (IVF) & had a son. The pregnancy was difficult, Plecenta Privia (bed rest for 10 weeks), low fluid and finally my son was born by c-section at 27 weeks. My son is perfect and a well developed 5 year old. Since his birth I have had lower right abdominal pain that begins with the first day of my period. The pain has progressively gotten worse over the 5 years. Originally it would last for the duration of my period to now it lasts for about 3 weeks. The pain started as a twinge here and there to now I am doubled over when I get up off a chair and have shooting pain while I sit. The incision area feels like a burning sensation when you lightly touch. My periods are regular as are bowel movements. I've had an altra sound with no results, seen a gynecologist with a result that they felt it was endometriosius. I don't feel it is endo because it starts day 1 of my cycle and runs through for 3 weeks. I have begun birth control pills to lessen the pain with no results. I am working with my dr. but the progress is really slow. Wonder if you have any advice and possible thoughts.
