A painful blister or sore on your penis can be caused by herpes, which is an STI caused by the herpes simplex virus. It may also cause you discomfort with burning sensation.
A painless sore or ulcer on your penis can be caused by syphilis (STI). You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Urologist. Get STD tests & Urinalysis (R/E & C/S) done.
If reports are positive, you will need antibiotics or antivirals & will be treated accordingly.
In the meantime, take care of your hygiene. You can apply neosporin ointment or soframycin ointment on the area affected. Avoid sex for a couple of days, stay away from multiple partners. Always perform safe sex.
Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K
