My son has a stiff neck and his older brother thought he was helping by twisting his neck in the direction where he could not move it. He turned his neck fast and now my son has a small lump on the opposite side of where his pain originally was. Now he can't move it in the other direction because it hurts him. The pain where the stiff neck originated is now gone but now he says he is still hurting from the lump on his neck. His lump is close to the throat so were wondering if the symptons are related or not.
