I have discovered a lump inside my left buttock which is causing me discomfort and soreness when pressed. On examination it seems to have spread from where bottom of my spinal area meets the top of my bottom. There is no visible redness or boil like things on the outer of my skin. Could this just be a cyst or something more serious?
it is best if you have it checked by a physician. based from your description, it could just be a simple cyst or an abscess. a physical examination by your clinician would be of great help. diagnostic evaluation such as proctoscopy and imaging, and management (medical or surgical) will be directed accordingly.
hope this helps.
good day!!
