What Causes A Lump On The Leg After A Fall In A Child?

Hi my 3 year old daughter fell over around 3weeks ago and had a lump and bruise on her shin she didn t cry or seem bothered but after 3weeks the lump is still there she says it doesn t hurt but im wondering how long until it goes or should I get it seen to? Its not visible but when you touch it its pretty big and very hard. Any advice would be greatful. Thank you Hayley
