What Causes A Mildly Sensitive Large Black And Blue Mark On My Buttocks?

My left buttock displays a large black and blue mark, when no injury was sustained. I have noticed that both my buttocks have been mildly sensitive upon touch over the past few days, and wonder if there is any connection. My age is 73. Thanks for any suggestions you might have!

My Dear

Welcome to Healthcaremagic!
I have noted your details and concerns and hope that following measures will prove very useful to you as most of the patients that I see with similar complaints:

You seem have developed pressure related lesions which seem to be related to constant sitting and impaired blood circulation.

The best measure in such a state is to change your posture frequently and ventilate the area.

With these measures your problem should get well controlled.

Best wishes
