What Causes A Missed Period Despite A Negative UPT?

Hi , I’m a bit worried , I’ve just had my first doctors visit... my last period was the 4th October meaning I’m a week late. I have dont 4 hpt that all came back positive. I did one this morning that said pregnant 3+ . But my doctors test was faintly positive ... is this common? Am I worrying over nothing... I’ve to go back in two weeks

Hello,

You have mentioned in history that urine pregnancy test is positive. So, you are pregnant and for confirmation Trans vaginal USG is helpful.

If you have unexpected pregnancy after contraception failure, then it can be terminated or continue with pregnancy. Consult a gynecologist for examination.
