What Causes A Missed Period Post Petogen Withdrawal?
Help doc' been on petogen once and i didn't go for my second shot which was on the 16 December 2016 and now it's February 2017 I havent been on my periods can I be pregnant? Cz I used to get my periods while on petogen and if I'm not pregnant what steps can I take to speed up the pregnancy process.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Petogen is supposed to be taken as per the schedule when you miss a shot and have unprotected intercourse or sex. There would be chances of you getting pregnant, and as such the periods get slightly irregular when you are on petogen.
So right now, you need to take a urine pregnancy test or blood test that is bhcg. If you are not pregnant then you need to get a scan done and try some other method of contraception like intra uterine devices etcetera which don’t need monthly injections or daily tablets.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
