What Causes A Noticeable Green Vein On Upper Arm And Lower Leg?

I have recently noticed a very noticeable green vein on my upper inner right arm and a smaller visible green vein on my right lower leg. Is this something that needs immediate attention? It does not hurt. I have recently started walking a couple times a week a couple of miles.
