Dr: I am a 64 year old male in Cincinnati, Ohio. Not sexually active. On Monday evening 6/25/18 I felt a sting on my penis. Since I wear depends I thought there was too much moisture or that I had banged something. On Tuesday morning while showering I discovered an approximately 1/4 blood blister had burst through the skin on underside of my penis. No visible bleeding. Urination is normal. Just minor stinging in the area, not during urination. I applied Lidocaine to stop stinging. Your thoughts and also what should I do: primary care or urologist? Thank you, RJW YYYY@YYYY
t can be due to urinary tract infection due to diabetes. Doing a urine complete can help you. It can be local bacterial infection too. Doing a swab culture can help you. I hope you are feeling better already.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have further doubts, I would be happy to help you.
