What Causes A Painful Bruised Spot With A Knot On The Body?

I have a 14 yr. old grandson that has a spot that appears to look bruised in dark color. He has had this for approx 6 months. It has a small area that has a knot . He complains that It only hurts when he sits down mostly. We took him to 2 doctors one saying it was just a bruise the other says it is a fatty deposit. Is there any other diagnosis that we should be looking into or what type of doctor we should go have him see. He only saw regular pediatrician. Thanks

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

According to history,I feel that most probably the lesion may be hemangioma. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. After proper diagnosis, dermatologist might decide the plan of management. Laser surgery or excision may be done,if needed.

Thanks.
