What Causes A Painful Burning Sensation On The Lips?

since june i ve had painful, burning, itchy,swollen, blistered lips with a weird smell going thru my nose and staying there.it s miserable and I don t know what to do. I clean for a living and once touched my lips after cleaning my hands with it. I also had mrsa once from a room I cieaned.

Hello,

As per your case history, you have cheilitis. My treatment advice is - 
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 
2. Apply a steroid cream like kenacort oral paste twice daily on the affected part. 
3. Take a vitamin B12 supplement once daily for three months. 
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, topical tacrolimus given only after consulting a dermatologist
