What Causes A Painful Lump In The Lower Left Rib?
i have had a lump in my lower left rib area with pain upon touch for about 15 years , now ive noticed its started to get larger and i have been catching every cold or virus that goes around, which is unusual for me. Any ideas? I have had some lower back pain at the same time

it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for medical and physical examination. based from your description, it could be a cyst (a sebaceous or a keratinous type), a fibroma or a lipoma. these lesions can occur anywhere in the body and have the tendency to recur. management (medical and surgical) will be directed accordingly.
