What Causes A Persistent Itchy Lump Despite Using Anti-bacterial Cream?

i was recently in Atlanta Georgia for the weekend, while there i was bitten by something under my left breast which left a red mark bout the size of a quarter in a oblong shape. it itches and feels like a bump, i used neosperon, alcohol, anti-bacteria cream on it. Its been 5 days and its still there still itching, but it has gotten a little smaller
