Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my 15 year old daughter woke me up at 3 this morning saying she vomited a thick pink substance. we all ate the same thing for dinner and no one else got sick. and i asked her if she ate or drank anything pink before going to bed and she said no. should i take her to her doctor?
The food we eat gets transformed due to digestive enzymes in stomach and intestine. If the vomiting increases and if she develops other symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, fever, loos stools please consult the doctor.
Give her plenty of fluids and fruit juice to maintain her hydration. If she maintains same and dose not develop fresh symptoms do not worry.
Hope the answer has helped you.
