What Causes A Pocket Of Fluid To Appear In The Thigh?
I have an indentation on my right thigh that almost feels like a bruise when touched. I went to the Dr. and was sent for an ultrasound. The test for a blood clot turned up fine. When she did the ultrasound on the spot it showed a pocket of fluid . She said that the Dr. would read it and send a report to my Dr. next week. What could this be?

What Causes A Pocket Of Fluid To Appear In The Thigh?
Hello, It could be an abscess and has to be drained. Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated. Nothing much to worry as it can be done easily under local anesthesia. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
