What Causes A Positive Pregnancy Test After Having A Light Period?
hi, i recently had a shorter lighter period with some spotting 4 days before period should begin. i m not on any medications, so during my period i took a digital home pregnancy test with a conception estimator. it came out pregnant 1 to 2 weeks, 2 days later i did the same and got the same results. i thought because i was on my period it was wrong or a chemical pregnancy so today i took another digital with weeks estimator and it came up pregnant 3+ weeks. does that mean i m pregnant? would the weeks estimator not have risen if it was a chemical pregnancy? also i did take a dye test with lines last week and it was negative. i m so confused.
Hi, thanks for using HCM.. I understand your concern.. Spotting in and around the expected period time can be due to implantation bleed. Implantation bleed means it is the bleeding which occurs when the fertilised ovum gets implanted onto the uterus. If you are in doubt, get a hcg test.. hcg>25 indicates a positive pregnancy. Hcg> 1500, a sac can be seen inutero using a transvaginal scan. Hope i have answered your queries.. Good day.
