What Causes A Puffy Eyelid After Hitting Head?
my 19 month old hit her head after falling from a shopping cart last night-we took her to emergency and after a 3 1/2 hour wait and a quick once over we were told there was nothing to worry about. But this morning she woke up with a puffy (not bruised) eyelid on the side of the head that she hit-is this normal?

It is quite normal to develop puffy eyelid after a fall.
It is due to accumilation of inflammatory fluid and blood.
It usually gets absorbed and becomes normal in due course.
