What Causes A Recurring Dull Pain Around The Left Stomach Area?

I have a dull pain that comes n goes on the left side of my belly button about 3 inches away. When I was walking around at work earlier it felt like it was even or just below the belly button line but as I sit here and type this it feels like it is above the belly button and an inch below the rib cage. Pain started today around noon it is now midnight. It seems the pain is getting sharper but still comes n goes.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

According to your complaint first it seems simple musculoskeletal pain....
Take rest .
Hot compression useful....
Avoid heavy weight lift....
Avoid strenous activity.....

If still no benefit it could be gastritis like condition.
Omeprazole taken for few days....

If condition getting worse then USG done to rule out stone or other colitis like infective etiology....

Take care....

You will mostly recover in 2 to 3 days.
