What Causes A Red Bumps Around The Pubic Area?

I have been having little red bumps around my pubic area of my vagina. They have a white center and when popped they bleed for a good 3 minutes, sometimes longer. When the puss comes out it has a seed type thing in it. I also recently used a new brand of razor. Could this be folliculitis or herpes?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having folliculitis in pubic region.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Don't use razor or any hair removal cream at that part. Instead of that use a trimmer or scissor.
3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
