What Causes A Red Circular Patch Above The Navel?

I have a one inch round circle in the center of my abdomen directly above my belly button. It doesn t hurt, doesn t itch it s just there. I was bit by a tick several years ago but that was on my back. This appeared about 4 to 5 weeks ago and has not diminished or changed in anyway.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having fungal infection called as tinea corporis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
