What Causes A Red Scab With Severe Itching On The Face?
Hello I was wondering if you could tell me if what I have on my face is just a scab what you get after a spot or anything more, the scab stopped weeping but then I had a shower and wiped my face and it come off. It s itchy, slow healing and basically just a red scab but it weeps
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red scab with severe itching on the face which is because of clogging of skin pores with bacteria, debris and sebum and skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented. It is due to poor and compromised immunity of body and increased susceptibility of getting infected. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cream rich in Azelaic acid or Kojic acid. Apply on face twice daily. It will lighten pigmentation on skin. You can visit dermatologist once and can go for chemical peeling or micro abrasion if your symptoms not resolving. Take supplements rich in vitamin C. Avoid applying any hard cosmetics on face. You should use medicated sunscreen such as Tancare rich in SPF 30.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
