What Causes A Red Spot On The Lip Area?
I woke up with purple red spot under skin on lip area today...looks like what people call liver spots but never seen on face...1/2 uneven circle...not raised at all...I am 74 yrs old and had turis surgery approx 12 weeks ago and was told I was bleeder...otherwise very healthy, ambulatory. Any ideas?? Treatment ideas to get rid of spot??

The kind of lesion you have developed might be suggestive of a fixed drug eruption over the skin .
This is basically a type of allergic skin reaction in which there is development of round to oval bluish red spots over the body after intake of some specific drugs to which ones body is allergic.
You might need a course of oral antihistamines along with topical steroid application.
