What Causes A Sensation Of Sliver In The Mouth?

I am having hair feeling in my mouth, hairs or slivers, I cannot see them but they crunch between my teeth. Could this be from dry mouth? It is constant unless I have something in my mouth to make it moist. At night it gets in my throat almost like small fish bones or something like that.

Hi,

It is nothing but the odd sensation you feel in mouth and throat. Such a sensation is due to obsessive-compulsive disorder. It may recover as the time pass. But, if it remains, consult the psychiatrist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr Ilyas Patel,
