What Causes A Sense Of Throat Blockage And Burning?
My mother, aged 58, often feels an obstacle in her throat at different points of the day, though not essentially during meals. She also has a burning sensation around her ear-nose-throat region. Recently she has developed a cough as well. What could be the ailment that she is suffering from?
Your mother may suffer from gastroesophageal reflux disease. I suggest using antacids daily such as Maalox three times a day. I also suggest using Omeprazole 20 mg daily in the morning before breakfast.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
