What Causes A Skin Rash And Redness In The Eyes?

I HAVE DEVELOPED RED EYE AND SKIN RASH FOR LAST FEW WEEKS . My internist thinks it is from HCTZ that I have been taking for last several years.My opthalmologist told me ,I have A1 eye no serious problem found except mild cataract in left eye and need glasses.I also take Lisinopril. I am 68 years old male. What should I do when my gets red after I am under sun? I have stopped HCTZ 4 weeks ago. Thanks,
