What Causes A Skin Tag And Pain In The Penis Opening?
i have had pain in the end of my penis for about 10 daYS. feels like a small knot on the underside. took pyridium 200mg threeetimes a day for 5 days and Cipro 500 mg bid for 3 days, seemed to help but now seems like its coming back. not too much pain on urination, but sore to the touch underneath.

If you had unprotected sex, we need to think of STI, these antibiotics won't be of help.
If not STI then it can be due to:
- Acne, Fordyce spots - which develop when skin's pores are clogged with natural oil, called sebum, sweat, dead skin, it can also cause infection
- Skin tag – it's normal, happens in age advances
- Ingrown hair which is painful can leads to infection, needs medical management
- Rough masturbation/sex
- Bullous impetigo- bacterial infection due to bad hygiene or use of public pools, towels
- Pemphigus – it's autoimmune disease can be diagnosed by blood investigation
