What Causes A Small, Round White Lump On The Scrotum?
I noticed a small, round white lump (like a pimple) on my scrotum - about the size of a pinhead. It was a little sore at first but has, within 5 days, all but disappeared. I was clearly worried it might be an STD related chancre but I read that these can take 3-6 weeks to disappear and mine looks like it will go within a week. Could it be something harmless or must I go to a doctor?
Hi. Noted your history of a pin-head sized. small round white lump on the scrotal skin, that has disappeared within 5 days. This indicates that it was a small sebaceous cyst. Scrotal skin is known to have the maximum number of sebaceous cyst production but the body heals it up and hence most of them disappear. This is not STD or so, hence stop worrying about it. I would advise you to clean the scrotal skin at least twice other than the bathing and these may not appear again.
