Applying ointment acyclovir on the affected are will help relieve symptoms. Cold compress is helpful. Get clinically examined by a urologist to detect jock itch, fungal infection, folliculitis, etc. You will be treated with antifungal medications orally and will be prescribed antifungal ointments to be applied locally.
