What Causes A Snot Like Substance With Little Blood In Stools?

I have a snot like substance coming from my anus every time I use the restroom. In fact it may feel like I have to "go" but once I sit down I push out alot of air and this "substance". Last night I noticed a tiny tiny bit of what looked like blood, but today I no longer see it. I do have Chron's but have never experienced this before. Should I seek a doctor, or will this go away?
