General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query. As it is a chronic problem of yours due to an old injury, I would advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon surgeon in your area for a clinical examination and also possibly for a MRI of the affected knee to have a proper diagnosis and appropriate management. Till then, you could go for an anti inflammatory along with a proton pump inhibitor for a symptomatic relief.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
