What Causes A Tangles Follicular Bump On My Head?

so it s been 2 years I developed a bump on my head. I told my family doctor back then and he said don t worry it s just a follicle that is tangle underneath and don t worry about it. Now it is getting big, and last month I just noticed another small one close to the first one. I have no pain, itch, headache or any other symptoms. I am confused which specialist should I see?, dermatologist or someone else?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Commonly we see sebaceous cysts, lipomas in the scalp. It can even be tumors of the hair follicle like trichoepithelioma etc.
You need to see a dermatologist for confirmation of diagnosis. Generally we prefer excision biopsy for small cysts.
Take care.
Hope this helps you.
