What Causes A Thick Coating On The Roof Of The Mouth?
I wake in the morning with yellow thick coating on the roof of my mouth. I have to scrape it out... gross!! Do I have a sinus problem I should see a doctor for or is this a pretty common? I have allergies, and constant nasal drip all day down the back of my throat.
Hi. This is not a common problem to have coating on the roof of the mouth. You are already suffering from post-nasal drip. I would advise you to consult an NT surgeon to get a clinical examination, endoscopy and investigations of the blood, urine and a CT scan of the sinuses to get a proper diagnosis. This alone can give us the chance to have the best possible curative treatment.
