What Causes A Tingling Feeling In The Bottom Of The Hand?
I just IV d some meth in my Left arm, in the Middle of my arm, directly above my elbow. I hit. Drew blood. (So I know I was in). Then began to push injector. I felt a slight burn. . So I stopped. . And moved needle slightly to make sure I was in a vein. . Then drew back blood. . And pushed all the way down. No sharp pains or burning but my hand and arm(left only) feel cold. Slight tingle in bottom of hand. .Abd along bottom of arm. . Help
Cannot say in your partiuclar case but there are many possible causes of tingling like this that would reqauire and be fixed by immediate medical attention in general. Tingling, shooting would often imply a nerve is involved. Furthermoremore, the ULNAR NERVE runs down the arm, over the elbow and into the hand. It sticks out and is often directly injured. Also, nerves can be injured severely by losing blood supply. Meth injection can directly hit a nerve. It can also cause loss of blood supply to the nerve due tot he constriction effects of methamphetamine (local gangrene). This is treatable if done immediately, or the nerve can die off.
