What Causes A Tonsil Lump With Swelling?
In March I started taking hcg that I had ordered online. I started taking them, and a week or so after taking them I noticed a pea size or smaller bump on or close to my right tonsil. (I was a smoker during this time) It is flesh colored, no bleeding, no soreness, nor does it bother me. I barely notice it.... I also noticed that my right tonsil looks a little bigger than my left, it doenst look red or swollen, and it might have been that way even before I noticed the bump. I have made a doctors appt for this Friday... but Im so worried and would just like to see if someone can give me some peace of mind, that its nothing serious?

Noted your history of taking hcg on your own, development of large right tonsil and some swelling on or near right tonsil, flesh colored, no bleeding, no soreness, no botheration,
As per the history you have mentioned there may be an infection that turned into cyst formation or so.
But since this has occurred one has to worry about and you have done a right thing by taking an appointment with Doctor.
Once the Doctor examines, request him to have necessary investigations of blood and may be CT scan of the tonsillar area with neck to know the possible cause.
Even a tonsillectomy and histopathology can help to rule out any diagnosis like lymphoma or so.
