What Causes A Vibration In The Center Of The Chest?

i have been feeling something on my right side of the center of my chest. it almost feels like a vibration. it lasts for a few seconds and will stop but then do it a minute or two later. it started yesterday and only seems to do it when i am standing or sitting up. i went to lay down and did not seem to notice it as much. it is a very light sensation not a hard pounding feeling.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms do not seem to be related to the heart. For this reason, I recommend you to take an antiacid for possible acid reflux. If this feeling persists, I recommend checking thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction and performing a resting ECG.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
