What Causes A Warm Feeling In Ankle?

There is warm wierd thing that ramdomly has been happening to my ankle for the past two days. It doesn't hurt or cause any inconvinence. It feels though, almost like a warm thick liquid (blood) that spreads over the little circle bone on the outside of my left ankle then gradually goes away. It feels to me like the area is warm/hot but to touch, its not anything different than the rest of my body. What is the feeling?

Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Your symptoms could be related to inflammation of this joint. Have you had any trauma lately?
If the problem persists, I would recommend consulting with your doctor for a physical check up, a joint X ray study and inflammation tests (PCR, ESR, complete blood count).
If all these tests result normal, there is no reason to worry.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Wishing all the best,
Dr. Aida
