I am VERRY embarrassed by what I am about to ask, but I really need to chill out and just stop worrying about it. I am a 13 year old girl and I am getting a clear wattery discharge coming from my nipples. Ive tried to ignore it and wait it out, but its been 3 weeks and it wont go away. Should I be worried?
Please dont be embarrassed. I can understand that such a symptom will be quite disturbing at such an age .
I would like to know a few more things, are you menstruating yet? if yes, when did u attain menarche? Does this discharge have any blood stain in it? Does it seem like milk? Do you feel any lump in your breasts ? Well, if this discharge is for 3 weeks ,you could go for a blood test called Serum prolactin and also serum Tsh. This is to know if you have any hormonal problems ,if they are normal and you dont have any symptoms you can be reassured. You should visit a endocrinologist ,if the results are abnormal. Regards.
