What Causes A White Blister Between The Toes?
I suddenly developed a large white blister between my fourth and fifth toe. It ruptured and began to feel itchy and mildly painful. It is weeping and the discharge is foul smelling. Is this athlete s foot? Is it ok to apply an anti-fungal cream to the open blister?

It is mostly intertrigo which is most often caused by fungi but may also be caused by bacteria .
