What Causes A Yellow & Foul Smelling Discharge In The Urine?
Hello I have a cottage cheese like discharge, foul smelling urine, and slight irritation on the exterior of my vagina. Im positive that its not an STD so im not sure what it could be. I thought it might be a yeast infection so i brought an over the counter medicine to cure it, It went away for about a week or so and now its starting to come back. Can u please tell me what this might be?
As per my clinical experience, the issue sounds to be a bacterial and fungal infection of vagina or cervix.
My guidelines at present
- consume more liquids
- keep the best care of genital hygiene
- keep blood sugar under control
- get a test of vaginal swab culture done with your OBGY
- prescription of culture-specific antibiotic and antifungal as per the clinician concern rather than off the counter medicines
- avoid vaginal intercourse (if active at present).
