Hello,

Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal surgery) patients usually have some level of bloating problem if they can not maintain food consumption schedule. As digestive juices not stored in gallbladder pancreas, digestive juice production does not match with extra food intake.

It leads to indigestion and gas formation, sometimes diarrhea. You have made some regular habits of food intake. Don't eat much in one sitting. Eat every two to three hour lesser than your hunger. Don't eat much spicy, oily and fat containing foods. For diarrhea drink oral rehydration solution (WHO approved ORS). For abdominal bloating take capsule omeprazole one hour before or two hours after a meal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
