What Causes Abdominal Cramping And Blood In Urine?

Hi...my daughter is 12 years old. She was at school two days ago and had some abdominal cramping, went to the restroom and had some blood in the toilet after urinating. She thought that she had started her menstrual cycle, which would be the first time. She was provided a pad by the school and sent to her next class. It has been two days now and she has had no more bleeding. Apparently she had no more bleeding for the rest of the day either. Is this normal? Should we be concerned that the bleeding may have been something else and take her to the doctor? I m not sure what to do at this point.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
She may start menstruating. Few times initially it is common to have this kind of irregular bleeding and not full blown menstrual period. It is very common and nothing to worried about that. SO don't worry much about that. Just be relaxed. If she has bleeding in urine then she need urine examination. Other wise its normal.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
