What Causes Abdominal Cramps After Eating A Meal?

Yesterday I had lunch around 12 noon and then dinner around 6:30 PM, as soon as I finished my last bite at dinner I started having cramps in my stomach and that led to me throwing up approximately 1/2 hour after I ate. My food was fresh, so no spoiled food and I ate at home, so clean food on clean plates. I did have part of my intestines removed approximately 4 years ago. I need to know if I have possible torn something or is this what happens when you have the kind of surgery that I did?
