Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm having cramps in my upper GI area and belching with a rotten egg taste. I have had gallstones in the past (several years ago) and more recently I've had some trouble with irregular bowels and cramping. I am otherwise healthy and take no medications.
Hello Welcome to Ask a Doctor service I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. It is the symptoms of dyspepsia if it is the discomfort in gastric region with bad breath or foul smelling, first and very effective is to control the diet, stop having heavy meal, spicy food, but better to have some light diet or liquid diet only, like milk plain vegetable soup, fruit juice (No citrus fruits) condition can be managed with tab Omeprazole once in day for few weeks, else it is nothing to worry. Hope I have answered your query, let me know if I can assist you further.
