What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Bleeding After Intercourse?
im a married 22 year old, have had 1 sexuall partner which is my hubby...we live far from one another, maybe we have sex after 4-5 months, but all of a sudden i have been bleeding shortly after sex,and feel some pain on my abdoman like period pains....what could be the cause??
It seems that you started your period immediately after the intercourse. The pain was of starting the period which must have been subsided after 14 hours or so.
If you are getting bleeding after each intercourse, you will have to report to the Gynaecologist. Mostly such bleeding is due to some lesion on the mouth of the uterus (cervix). You have to keep in the possibility of cancer of cervix also; however you are too young to have cancer cervix. And Cancer cervix bleeding is not associated with pain.
Depending up on whether it is only single incidence of bleeding or recurrent ones, you have to visit Gynaecologist. If it is the single incidence, you may label it as menstruation and wait patiently. Repetition should not be ignored and Gynaecologist's opinion should be sought for.
I hope you have received the explanation.
