What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Dark Menstrual Bleeding?
.I started my period the 5th or 6th and it lasted around 8 days , during my fertile window or whatever I had unprotected sex twice and was supposed to ovulate this Sunday that just passed and ever since monday I ve been bleeding , it started out as light pinkish reddish spotting an progressed into dark brownish blackish blood with stringy clots and I ve been having abdominal pain and cramps , sometimes I ll have a pain in either sides of my pelvis , now the bleeding is dark red an still clumpy like , I ve been having to change my tampon every hour an half or so. I started my period for a week , quit bleeding for about a week an now I ve been bleeding for a week. I m tired and moody , I ve been hurting..
The abdominal cramps are usually associated with a heavy bleeding and passage of clots. The dark blood is suggestive of an old blood. In case the bleeding is heavy then proper treatment is needed to control it.
